Range planning
Exploration and movement before personal transport
What the current Early Access area includes, how equipment and survival systems gate access, and why personal transport should not be assumed yet.

What you can explore now
The Early Access statement says the current build includes a large area to explore, with the first major story chapter and optional locations and events. Official copy points to abandoned stations, ruined settlements, and shipwrecks as the kinds of places worth entering. That describes the texture of the map. It is not a labelled route, a landmark list, or permission to copy demo-era locations forward.
Access to new places is tied to equipment and spacesuit upgrades, while oxygen and temperature create practical limits on how far or where you can travel. Some wrecks and stations may wait on tools rather than on more walking.
Suit-based range until transport arrives
The Steam Early Access FAQ still describes small flying and ground vehicles, a personal spacecraft, and a warp-jump system as planned later content. Personal bases and planetary gameplay are also later plans. Treat the current build as suit-based survival in open space, not as a vehicle or base-building sandbox.
Those statements are official plans, not dates. This page does not invent a calendar for when a vehicle appears.
How to plan trips without a verified map
Until landmarks and return points are checked in the current Early Access build, plan around the systems that are already confirmed: leave oxygen for the way back, do not assume temperature is optional, and treat a blocked door or machine as an equipment question before it becomes a grinding question. Which kind of unlock to spend on first is the early upgrade priority page. That sequence is community observation. This page stays the range plan.
- Turn back while the HUD still leaves a return margin
- Mark what actually blocked progress: oxygen, temperature, missing tool, or unclear objective
- Do not assume a vehicle, warp jump, or personal base will solve the next room
- Ignore demo-era shortcuts until they reappear in this build
- Early upgrade priority — Route length before cosmetic or combat
What this page will verify next
A later revision can document landmarks, safe return points, objective routes, environmental gates, traversal upgrades, and ways to reduce repeated travel. No demo-era location will be carried forward without checking it against the current Early Access build.
How this guide is maintained
Breathedge 2 Guide treats official store and developer pages as the primary source of truth. Current-build community evidence can answer gaps the developers have not documented, but it is clearly labelled, attributed, and checked against conflicting reports.
Exact routes, recipes, timers, and balance values are dated when verified. If a detail is still uncertain, the guide says so instead of filling the gap with a guess.
