Early Access roadmap: confirmed plans, without invented dates
What the developer has said about the first and second major updates—and what remains unspecified.
First major update
The developer has said the first major post-launch update is planned to add personal transport in small and large forms, alongside more locations, progression, NPCs, lore, quests, and mechanics.
Second major update
Building a personal base, separate structures, and planetary gameplay are currently planned for the second major update. Planned means intended—not guaranteed scope or timing.

What is not known
The announcements do not provide fixed release dates for those major updates. This guide will not manufacture a calendar from the order in which features were discussed.
