Breathedge 2 Chapter 1 stuck-points guide
A spoiler-light Chapter 1 index: an official hotfix version table (0.8.5–0.8.11) for named stuck symptoms, plus triage for marker, interaction, prerequisite, and world-state blockers.
Part of: Chapter 1 stuck hub
Start with the build, not an old walkthrough
The initial Early Access release contains the first major story chapter, but several progression blockers were changed during the first hotfix cycle. A demo video or launch-day post can therefore point to an interaction that has already moved or been repaired.
Confirm Steam has finished updating the game, record the version shown by the current build, and make a manual note of the active objective before trying broad fixes.
Classify the blocker
Most reports fit one of four useful categories. Choosing the category prevents random dismantling or long searches that cannot solve the actual state problem.
- Marker problem: the objective exists, but its destination or icon is missing
- Interaction problem: the correct object is visible, but the prompt or animation will not advance
- Prerequisite problem: the objective points somewhere valid, but a tool, part, repair, or earlier step is incomplete
- World-state problem: loading, moving parts, or finishing a flight left the scene in an impossible state
Official hotfix version table (0.8.5–0.8.11)
Every row below is official Steam news, paraphrased. Read it as Symptom → Official fix version → Status. Dates are Asia/Shanghai (CST). The Steam post titled “0.8.11 — Patch Notes” (2026-09-29 CST) is still the latest official news for app 2412960 as of 2026-10-01. There is no newer hotfix in that feed. Status on every named row is patched — update the game, then recheck the symptom on that build.
This table does not claim every Chapter 1 blocker is fixed. A symptom that is not listed is a triage question in the next section, not an automatic bug. If a listed symptom remains after the installed version is at least the fix version, record the version and the objective text and use the report checklist below.

Still guide-worthy skill / triage blockers
A blocker that is not in the version table can still be worth a guide answer. The four labels below are how to sort that problem. They are not a bug list, and they are not a claim that the current build is broken.
- Marker: the objective exists, but the destination or icon is missing — read the objective text before searching the area
- Interaction: the object is visible, but the prompt or animation will not advance — confirm the installed version, then the tool or facing the prompt expects
- Prerequisite: the destination is valid, but a tool, part, repair, or earlier step is still incomplete
- World-state: a load, a moved part, or a finished flight left the scene inconsistent — reload a manual save before repeating the interaction
When the objective is not listed here
Check the version table first. If the symptom is listed, update to at least that hotfix before you treat it as open. Then check the in-game objective text and Encyclopedia, and capture the objective name, game version, last successful step, and a screenshot of the object or marker. Search the official discussion hub using the exact objective wording. If the state still cannot advance, use the pinned bug thread rather than assuming an item location from the demo.
This page is a verified triage index, not a fabricated room-by-room Chapter 1 walkthrough. Exact routes will be added only when they are checked against the current build.
How this guide is maintained
Breathedge 2 Guide treats official store and developer pages as the primary source of truth. Current-build community evidence can answer gaps the developers have not documented, but it is clearly labelled, attributed, and checked against conflicting reports.
Exact routes, recipes, timers, and balance values are dated when verified. If a detail is still uncertain, the guide says so instead of filling the gap with a guess.
