Hotfix index
Breathedge 2 quest marker and progression fixes
A version-aware checklist for missing markers, frozen interactions, save-state blockers, and objective bugs named in official hotfix notes.
Problems named in Hotfix 0.8.8
The developer says 0.8.8 fixed getting stuck while installing the loudspeaker on the station roof. It also fixed the Zarya engine starter handle failing after the visible ice had been broken away.
If either state persists, confirm the installed version is at least 0.8.8, restart after the update, and report the remaining reproduction steps to the official bug channel.
Problems named in Hotfix 0.8.7
The previous hotfix fixed the missing marker before cutting the grate in the Debug Pornhubble task, save/load breakage involving the detachable depot yoke, a shuttle-flight save timing problem, and Attendant body parts becoming stuck inside the character.
The same notes clarify that taxi letters were intentionally redistributed within a wider area compared with the demo. A different demo location is not automatically a bug.
Progression recovery order
Use a reversible recovery order so a useful bug report survives if the issue remains.
- Capture the objective text, version, and current scene
- Finish any visibly incomplete prerequisite in the same interaction area
- Save only from a normal controllable state when the game permits it
- Restart the current build after Steam finishes updating
- Reproduce once, then report exact steps instead of repeatedly overwriting saves
Not every missing part has a published location
Current discussions include questions about Attendant parts and other drifting objects. Unless an official note or direct current-build check establishes a location, this page will identify the report but will not turn a community guess into a guaranteed coordinate.
How this guide is maintained
Breathedge 2 Guide treats official store and developer pages as the source of truth. Community questions decide what we investigate next, but they do not become facts until the current Early Access build or a first-party source confirms them.
Exact routes, recipes, timers, and balance values are dated when verified. If a detail is still uncertain, the guide says so instead of filling the gap with a guess.
